Default Titles...haha.

i just did a dictionary search, and i finally found out what these crazy titles are.

Cervantes title: Cervantes Saveedra was a Spanish writer who wrote the book Don Quixote, which, surprise, is another forum title.

Don Quixote: look above.

is there a title for someone who's reached 2000+ posts?

If you put the titles for Savio and zehly together, you get "Sunshine Ninja"

Sancho Panza is the Quixotic's squire. Dunno how the horse is above the squire though; I actually haven't read Don Quixote.

I should read it... but I tend to find that a lot of "great works" really aren't that great. Unless by "great" you mean "great at putting you to sleep".

Ever tried reading Locke's "Treatise on Government" or Smith's "Wealth of Nations"? Oh man... talk about cures for insomnia. And those are subjects that I LIKE.

i agree, these "great works" are better than any tranq i can think of....just reading Charles Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities had me out in a few pages.

don't get me wrong, i love reading. i can get through 3+ books in about 5 days....

but these books are just plain boring.

Actually, I rather liked A Tale of Two Cities. Locke's stuff in snippets wasn't bad either - I read his stuff while studying the Declaration of Independence.

Now, if you want a really boring book, go get Atlas Shrugged. It's like edutainment.

In digestable pieces, Locke is very interesting. Trying to read his entire works, while valuable for context, is an exercise in keeping your eyelids open.

If you like "post modern" fiction, try Huxley's "Brave New World". It's probably one of my favorite anti-utopian novels.

hm, anti-utopian...sounds interesting....even though IMO "utopia" isn't really possible.

i'll look him up, thanks.
